Richard is the founder of evolution AI Consulting. His specialisms span custom LLM development, computer vision, machine learning (ML), edge AI, data monetisation, AWS IoT Core, telematics, data analytics and connected vehicles.

With more than two decades at executive level in the software sector, Richard has built and led engineering, product and data teams as both an entrepreneur and an operator. He has founded companies, shipped platforms used at scale, and worked at the intersection of hardware, connectivity and intelligence — turning messy real-world signals into useful, ownable AI products.

Through evolution AI Consulting, Richard partners with founders and leadership teams as a fractional Head of AI, strategist and build partner. He helps them cut through the hype, avoid expensive tool choices and ship measurable AI into production — whether that's a private model, an internal copilot, or a new customer-facing product. With a strong business and commercial background Richard also helps with GTM strategy, pricing and sales models for the AI products we deliver.
